OUR SERVER WAS HACKED, PLEASE READ!

Publikálva: 2016. February 10.

Read this, if you are a registered user of the entry.budapestmarathon.com webpage.

We have learned that the security of the BSI online entry portal was compromised and unauthorized users may have been able to access your personal data. We are still trying to determine the extent of the hacker attack and what data may be affected.

Our database does not contain bank card or payment details as those are entered into OTP Bank’s secure system, so rest assured that your financial details have not been compromised.

Our online race entry portal has been temporarily suspended while we fix the security lapse.

All previous passwords have been invalidated and every user will be given a new, randomly generated password. Once the portal is back in operation, please request a new password through the password reminder option and we will send new log in details to the email address provided when you registered. Please note that these emails sometimes land in your spam basket. This new password should be changed once you log in. However, you should not change this to your previously used password as this may have been compromised.

If you are also using this email address/username/password combination on other websites, please be sure to change your password there, too.

To improve data security, you should never use the same address/username/password combination on multiple websites.

We are working to fix our online entry portal as soon as possible. We will provide further information on this process at www.runinbudapest.com.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
