It is an achievable distance for anyone and serves as a great entry point into the world of longer distances. Perhaps this is your distance?

At the race, all well-prepared runners, wheelchair users, handbike racers, and runners with strollers can participate if they accept the information provided in the event details and meet the registration requirements.

Wheelchair users or handbike racers who complete the distance under their own power can start from the front of the field. They will start 1 minutes ahead of the main field with a motorcycle escort. They will be accompanied by a leading motorcycle and can leave the field after passing the designated point once the route is finalized. If they complete the distance with assistance, they can start from the designated start zone according to their planned pace.

All participants must wear the race number visibly and fully on the front, even when wearing a top. The use of triathlon-style race number fasteners is allowed.

A 10-minute time penalty can be given to a participant who folds or obscures their race number or fails to wear it clearly during the race.

If an individual participant is also the first member of a team (pair or trio), they do not need to wear the individual race number with an index assigned to the team.

A participant may be disqualified if they repeatedly violate the race number wearing rule despite warnings, fail to complete the full course designated by the organizers, provide inaccurate or incomplete information on the registration form, or misuse the timing chip.

For their own safety and the safety of fellow runners, it is not recommended for participants to listen to music or use any other audio player simultaneously in both ears during the race. There are cyclists and motorcycle organizers working within the field, as well as medical teams if needed. Wearing headphones can block out external sounds, potentially hindering communication with fellow runners, organizers, and medical staff.

Inline skating, cycling, running without a race number, and running with a dog are prohibited during the race. Participants who run with a cyclist or inline skater escort can be disqualified from the race.

We do not take responsibility for the safekeeping of personal belongings at the event venue.

Any commercial or advertising activities at the event venue are subject to prior approval and must be conducted in accordance with the guidelines and arrangements agreed upon by BSI.

BSI reserves the right, for organizational reasons, to limit the number of participants and close registration at any time.

BSI reserves the right to modify the route, program, and schedule of the event.

If the weather conditions warrant it, additional temporary water stations will be set up along the route.

There is no option for individual refreshment drop-off.

At the designated refreshment stations along the route, multiple 1-cubic-meter collection containers will be placed primarily for collecting empty cups. You will find these containers on both sides of the route after the last refreshment table. The last container will be located 50 meters after the end of the station, and this will be indicated with a separate sign. Please dispose of any waste from the refreshment station into this container at the latest.

We kindly ask you not to litter any waste along the route but to dispose of it in the containers provided at the refreshment stations. Selective waste collection containers suitable for recycling will be placed at the finish line and throughout the event area. The containers will be labeled to indicate the type of waste to be deposited.

Useful tips: At the refreshment stations, we can only hand out cup refreshments to the front and back of the field. When runners are arriving in large numbers, please do not expect us to take your drink. Refreshment stations are often the source of the most problems. Do not try to slip in between two runners for a quick drink or snack. Follow basic etiquette rules even during the race, wait for your turn, and remember that there are often fewer people at the remote end. Do not take more than you need, as there are likely many runners behind you who may need the refreshment even more. After crossing the finish line, you can collect your medal first, then your finisher package. You can refresh yourself with water at the water stations located at the start/finish area.

The successful finish will be assisted by pace runners with the following planned finishing times:

  • 50 minutes
  • 1 hour
  • 1 hour 10 minutes
  • 1 hour 20 minutes
  • 1 hour 30 minutes

You can find the downloadable pace charts here.

Based on the last starting time of 1 hour 30 minutes, the field will be followed by a sweep bus maintaining that pace. If the pace of the last runner falls below the pace of the sweep bus, they must board the bus, their bib number will be crossed out, and they will not be allowed to enter the finish area.

The timing service provider is AGNI-Timing.

The timing is done using UHF chips attached to the back of the bib number. Please read the following information about chip usage!

Rules for wearing the bib number:

Timing is done using timing mats (antennas) placed on the ground, which detect the transmitter placed on the bib number from a distance of approximately 2-3 meters. The timestamp is recorded at the strongest signal (when passing over the mat).

To ensure successful individual timing, please observe the following rules:

The bib number must be worn visibly on the front of the torso throughout the race. (Bib number belt is allowed) Covering the bib number is prohibited. Do not remove, fold, or puncture the chip attached to the back of the bib number. Ensure that you wear your own bib number during the race. After crossing the finish line, please leave the timing point as soon as possible.

The 1st to 3rd place male and female athletes in the Manna ABC 10 km race will be awarded. The award ceremony will be based on the order of arrival at the finish line (gross time). The online results list may show different rankings based on net time.

1st to 3rd place wheelchair and handbike male and female competitors: material gift.

after you finished

The results are continuously updated in the results list after crossing the finish line. Participants who do not have recorded times at any of the route checkpoints are listed in the results without a placement number. Participants who received a 10-minute time penalty for irregular bib number wearing are marked with an asterisk (*) next to their name.

You can pre-order a medal insert engraved with your name and finishing time to avoid waiting in line on-site. We will mail it to you approximately one and a half weeks after the event.

Once it arrives, you simply stick it onto the back of your medal, and your personal keepsake of your achievement is ready.

The insert can be ordered online together with your race registration or through the „Products” section of the BSI registration system. It is also available for purchase in person at the BSI Information stand at the event venue.
